NO UNLIMITED PRIVILEGE IN MINISTRY.

UNLIMITED PRIVILEGE?

There is no such thing as an unlimited privilege in ministry! OR A privilege without limits. To every privilege in the ministry there is a limit! Never mistake your ignorance of the limit to a privilege you are enjoying in the ministry for the absence of one. Ignorance of the law of gravity is NOT the absence of it. A child who jumps off the roof of a skyscraper out of ignorance of the law of gravity is not saved from the implication of the law of gravity on him for jumping off the skyscraper! Every privilege we are given in life is within some limits.

Ananias and Sapphira. No grace saved them from the consequences of their ignorance of the limits of the privilege they were having. They were privileged to come to the saving knowledge of God and belong to the church. That was a privilege. Not everybody had that! There were a lot of unbelievers then who hadn't yet come to the privilege of the saving knowledge of Christ. They were privileged to have such close contact with such a great apostle as Peter. Some of us could easily trade places with Ananias and Sapphira just to have the opportunity to meet and fellowship with Apostle Peter.  But here we are, so far from those we deem anointed close to such anointing as Apostle Peter had. And even those among us who are anointed to measure up to apostle Peter, the closest we can get to them is to follow them on social media. Download their messages and listen to podcasts and that will be it. But Ananias and Sapphira had this once in a lifetime privilege and didn't even know and consequently,  didn't know the limits thereby. Obviously they didn't know they were crossing a line they shouldn't cross. To them, they were lying to Peter not knowing, they were lying to the Holy Spirit. Ignorance is no excuse! Make it your job and assignment to find and know the limits associated with the privileges of your life, so that you don't cross that line and end your self in trouble.

There are some privileges you won't even be quick to take them up If you know the implications of out stepping its bounds. You will train and educate yourself well to play within the circles before taking them up.

This is how David puts it:

Psalms  131:1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

131:2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Sometimes that's all it takes to save yourself the trouble. Behave like a child! FINISH! Now thats a full message! "Behave like a child!"
